Design, develop and fabricate Special Test Equipment used to test Digital/Analog/Power modules, subsystems, and systems. Designs can include bench-top manual tests, automated test programs, as well as sim/stim test systems used in production test solutions. Responsibilities also include the integration and validation of the test software..
Basic Qualifications:
• Bachelor’s degree in either Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or Electrical Engineering along with 2 years of professional experience; or a related master’s degree.
• The successful candidate must have demonstrated experience with troubleshooting and development of test solutions (hardware and/or software).
• Must have Knowledge and experience working with commercial test equipment including signal generators, oscilloscopes, spectrum analyzers, power meters, etc.
• Candidates must have general knowledge and understanding of software as it applies to special test equipment.
• Knowledge of how to implement LabVIEW events, queues, notifiers, etc.
Must have the ability to obtain a Secret Security clearance.
Desired Skills:
• Basic understanding of networking and networking protocols such as DHCP, ARP, TCP, and UDP.
• Familiarity with implementing digital signal processing functions such as FFTs.
• Implementing basic communication protocols (TCP, UDP, Serial, and GPIB).
• Experience with automated test design.
• Experience with using SVN/GIT type workflows.
