Job Description

Title: LabVIEW Engineer

Location: Nisku, Alberta, Canada

Employee Status: Contract/Full Time

Start Date: ASAP

Job Description:

‘4+ years’ experience LabVIEW application development for Automated Test Equipment. CLD/CLA certification preferred.

Strong programming skill in Lab VIEW with good experience in Architecture & Design patterns

Experience on NI Hardware (PXI, PCI) and other standalone equipment like DMM, Power supply etc

Exposure Oil and gas domain is added advantage

Primary Skills:

• LabVIEW based automation

Secondary Skills:

• PXI

Scope of Work

Provide Engineering services to the Assembly and Test Department of Sperry Technology at Halliburton. The scope includes but is not limited to the following:

1. Get detailed understanding of test requirements and associated test fixtures from the Test Manager or Test Designer.

2. Produce concept level and detailed designs

a. Electrical schematics and detailed wiring diagrams

b. Bill of Materials

c. Generate detailed test procedures

d. Support Test Setup, Troubleshooting, and Execution

e. Generate Test Reports

3. Design Focus

a. Test Rigs and DAQ system

b. Test Facility

4. Code Development via Labview for Test and Facility Systems is desired, but not required.

Halliburton will assign its Test Manager and an experienced Halliburton team to provide guidance for Concept Design and overall program steering. L&T would be playing supportive role to provide Engineering services as required.
